I don’t think that at any point in my career have I had to work and think about so much all at once. I think with the Mapsimise development project we have unleashed the inner software beast, or maybe it’s a huge can of worms with each worm being a development strand.
What I do know is that this is going to be conceptually huge, and our sales team are already asking when they can have it to show demos to customers. The reality is that our time length to date has only been 4 months of design and build, and although this means nearly four full person years already in development alone, there is going to be a few more months of long days ahead.
This month I really wanted to share the good news that our first two CRM platforms have been integrated. You may have read previously that our intention is to bring Mapsimise to market with multiple connected data sources, but today I can confirm that we have fully integrated Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SugarCRM so that data from these external providers can be used in real-time by your team or users of Mapsimise.
Being able to deliver the first two integrations has been a big step forward for the team as it helps us structure our on-going architectural design and build.
In May’s blog, I hope to have some more great news to share but currently contracts are not yet signed, and directions are still being confirmed.
Bio – Alistair Dickinson CEO Mapsimise

After 21 years helping organisations with technology, I’ve seen and worked on many projects. As CEO of Mapsimise I’m still very hands on working with all team members and not sat in an office making spreadsheets and crunching numbers. I’m happy to work on the support desk, take calls and discuss how our tools and technology can help businesses like yours. You can find me on Linkedin, Twitter or email me directly. I’m very jeans and t-shirts and still wear Nike Air trainers to the office which I’m told is cool…
