We are happy to announce the latest release of Mapsimise and we want to ask you…

Are you thinking about location intelligence and what advantages it can bring to your business?

Many of us have systems like CRM and ERP, with lots of data about important activity. However, reporting and generating reports is not always a straightforward task.

Data analysis in business is key to the survival of your business and with our data analysis platform, Mapsimise, along with location intelligence, we make this task much more achievable and exciting!

We pride ourselves on bringing the best functionality which is why we wanted to let you know about some of the exciting updates we have brought to Mapsimise in its latest release.

We aim to roll out updates every few months to keep Mapsimise fresh and exciting, extending its capability.

We hope you love the updates as much as we do, but as always, we welcome your feedback and offer our guidance with any questions you may have about Mapsimise and how to get started.

So, What’s New for Mapsimise Update 3.0?

Charts
Mapsimise now includes charts! Analyse the data you have filtered spatially with simple-to-create Pie and Bar charts, providing location intelligence.

Similar to building charts in Excel, simply designate columns from your Mapsimise data grid as axis for your chart. Values can be shown as a count (for example: count of records by gender) or by sum (for example: totalling opportunity value over x months).

As you move around the map or draw shapes to filter your data, the charts update dynamically. Choose from an array of colour schemes to add a personal touch to your mapped data presentation, and then save the chart in a map view ready to share with your team or the world!

Share charts and data publicly
Once you’ve created the perfect map in Mapsimise, share it with the world! This update rolls out the ability to share the new charts right alongside your map. Not only that, but you can now include the data grid when you share a map both inside your team/company or publicly with the world.

Now your target audience can see everything you can see in the Mapsimise interface. Or, you can choose to share a simple map with pins only. With the powerful sharing options given to you by Mapsimise Teams and Pro, sharing mapped data has never been easier or more flexible.

New, streamlined user experience
We have combined what used to be the map legend (list of layers) and the data grid together so that you can export and manipulate your filtered data right from the grid, instead of via one of two similar menus. We’re continuing to make Mapsimise the most user-friendly location intelligence tool on the market.

Before: Note the separated map legend/grid legend, and grid data options behind menu

After: Now a single location for your map legend/layer, and all grid data options as a toolbar
