As haunting hour approaches and the pumpkins are lit ready for trick or treat, we have a treat for our followers.

Today is a very special day for the Mapsimise team. We have just completed our first platform drop internally of a complete integrated solution.  Yes, there is still lots to do and a long way to go, but after a full ten months with an enthused development team, a major milestone has been achieved.

You may not think that this is too important, but for our team it really is the go/no go point.  What we have achieved to date has been to complete a proof-of-concept and we now truly believe that Mapsimise as a geospatial platform is good to go for final stage development.

This is probably the half way point and for anyone that has been involved in the journey of building a solution for business, you will know and have experienced the type of effort required in design, development and in planning a release to potential users.

Hitting such a milestone without delay from the original project plan has enabled our team to plan the final development cycles effectively, and lock down available functionality for the first Mapsimise release (RTM) in September 2019.

Each month we will continue to document our journey, but in closing, the concept has now been proved and we are over the hill and heading for the summit.

Bio – Alistair Dickinson CEO Mapsimise

After 21 years helping organisations with technology, I’ve seen and worked on many projects. As CEO of Mapsimise I’m still very hands on working with all team members and not sat in an office making spreadsheets and crunching numbers.  I’m happy to work on the support desk, take calls and discuss how our tools and technology can help businesses like yours.  You can find me on Linkedin, Twitter or email me directly.  I’m very jeans and t-shirts and still wear Nike Air trainers to the office which I’m told is cool…
