I really can’t believe that we are already five months into the elapsed time of building Mapsimise, and work has continued at a pace. As you might well imagine, a lot of research is happening alongside our development and I’m pleased to share that we have now completed another real time integration to consume data with Mapsimise from Salesforce.com.
Our Salesforce.com integration has now been fully tested with our infrastructure build, meaning that users of both Salesforce.com and Mapsimise can easily share customer data to be plotted on a Google Map, as well as be able to utilise Google Street View.
We have not yet concluded all the functionality that will be offered through our “CRM Integrations” but the long-term view is to offer not only data sharing, but a rich experience of managing and sharing data between platforms, so look out for further updates!
If you’re reading our updates and thinking that Mapsimise won’t help you as you don’t have a CRM system in place, then we have solved that problem too! Like other providers that only offer CSV and Microsoft Excel uploads, we have incorporated our own data tables as part of Mapsimise, so you can upload standalone address related data for use.
As a final update this month, the development tasks and Jira boards are now beginning to shrink, and the team believe they are ahead of schedule with current developments. In my next update, I hope to be able to share some more news of service integrations, and what this means for Mapsimise.
If you have not preregistered for access to be a Release Candidate or to be part of our early adopter project and you would like to, you can now do this via the Mapsimise website: www.mapsimise.com
Bio – Alistair Dickinson CEO Mapsimise

After 21 years helping organisations with technology, I’ve seen and worked on many projects. As CEO of Mapsimise I’m still very hands on working with all team members and not sat in an office making spreadsheets and crunching numbers. I’m happy to work on the support desk, take calls and discuss how our tools and technology can help businesses like yours. You can find me on Linkedin, Twitter or email me directly. I’m very jeans and t-shirts and still wear Nike Air trainers to the office which I’m told is cool…
