In this post we are meeting Rachel from IDCAA Recruitment,
IDCAA Recruitment, is a Recruitment agency employing a number of staff in several locations and is actively growing in both IT and other business services.
Rachel left University at 24 and took her first role with the company as a graduate, and later joined one of the recruitment teams in Information Technology and Architecture services.
Rachel soon realised that she needed a good understanding of geography as this could be a vital element in responding and searching for candidates for customers, and she also realised that it needed to be done quickly.
Rachel was having to work from job boards, data in spreadsheets and some customer data from her sales system.
Rachel longed to see a view of all the data on one screen and wanted the data to be displayed in a way that showed a relationship between each record and more importantly showed the location.
Rachel had started to get frustrated having to flip between different systems; Google Maps and job boards and knew that if she had everything in one place, she could be more productive, get more done and increase her efficiency and probably lower her stress levels.
Rachel then saw the video below on LinkedIn from the team at Mapsimise and realised this was exactly what she had been looking for. Rachel passed this to her Manager.
So, if you are running or working in a Recruitment Agency and if you think Mapsimise can make yours or your teams’ life easier then get in touch.

Mapsimise is a geospatial software tool and platform based on Google Maps technology which enables organisations of any type to visualise and map data via connectors or by uploading data to build an effective representation on one or more maps.
Although GIS capability is not new, Mapsimise is, as the approach taken is to bring connected data and geospatial together offering minimal setup and configuration for our customers and business owners.
As part of our initial release we will be supporting connectors with the following providers.
Bio – Alistair Dickinson CEO Mapsimise
After 21 years helping organisations with technology, I’ve seen and worked on many projects. As CEO of Mapsimise I’m still very hands on working with all team members and not sat in an office making spreadsheets and crunching numbers. I’m happy to work on the support desk, take calls and discuss how our tools and technology can help businesses like yours. You can find me on Linkedin, Twitter or email me directly. I’m very jeans and t-shirts and still wear Nike Air trainers to the office which I’m told is cool…
