This week we will cover off the use of multiple maps with the same data sets, gathering different views and filters from the same data.
As you may know, Mapsimise offers features that some mapping solutions do not offer.
- If you ever need help just contact us and we would be happy to walk you through the use case.
How to create a NEW view from a Map
Like all things Mapsimise, it's very easy to create new views from a map. Firstly, just open an existing map you have created, or click “New Map” to start from scratch.
From the file menu [top right] from any open map view you can either opt to save a copy of the same view with a new name or create a new view from the base map.
How to Save a View Copy
Creating a copy of an existing view from Mapsimise will allow you to retain the current view state and then make changes with the original map view not being altered. This allows you to build upon work already done.
How to Create a NEW View
Both the New and Copy view can be used without limitation and both have value when building up views of data for analysis.
You can add different charts to different views along with different grid views and pin variations.
Helping us, help you with Referrals
Here at Mapsimise we have seen continued growth in customer numbers whilst we've all been working through one of the worst economic shocks of our time, and in return we are now able to offer a referral program based on “Amazon Vouchers”. If you feel like you know another business that could benefit from Mapsimise, please make use of our referral scheme. Depending on the referral*, we will reward successful uptake with vouchers between £50 and up to £250 for new customers.
