Hello 2021!
2021 looks to be an amazing year for Mapsimise with the release of V4 and more data connectors, as well as native Microsoft SQL server database and some popular social media tools which we're excited about! However, we're not quite ready to share too much just yet, but please do look out for our monthly email or connect with our social media feeds.
This week’s Tips and Tricks is based on our current data connectors and you might have seen alongside the use of our popular data tables within Mapsimise, we have five ready-to-go connectors and our own systems interface (or API for the techy ones).
Our Connectors

Both of our marketing connectors enable you to create lists from a map and pass those lists back to the related service for sending out emails, building lists spatially, with data from a map. What connector you use is your preference and you may even have an account with either DotDigital or MailChimp already.
How to do this:
First of all, you need to use Mapsimise to select the data using any of our filtering methods and then from the icon on the grid, you can either select DotDigital or MailChimp.

From the screen displayed you can either select 'Create a new list' or use an existing list and then map the data fields that you want on the list. Mapping the email is required.
Once you have selected “Ok” the list will be built in the related system ready for use and this is why Mapsimise is a great marketing addition for your team. Now you can target the right customers and prospects by the right location.
If you do need any help or would like support with using Mapsimise, please don't hesitate to get in touch. We are always here to help you with your data.
